Adedicatedfunctionallowsyoutodisablethedepthalarmsalltogether,whileanother

optionwillenableordisableanaudiblealarm.

Whenthealarmistriggered,theDepthAlarmseldchangescolour

tored.Thewarningisalsoprovidedasamessageinthemessaging

systemand-ifenabled-asanaudiosignal.

Toacknowledgethealarm,clicktheDepthAlarmseldtoopenthedialog.Thealarm

soundisthenautomaticallydisabled.To“restart”thealarm,clicktoenableUseAlarm

Sound.

Important

IfthebottomdetectorintheES70failstodetectthebottomwhenthedepthalarmis

enabled,orifthebottomdetectorisswitchedoff,thealarmwillbetriggeredindependent

ofthecurrentdepths.

Procedure

1ObservetheDepthAlarmseldontherightsideoftheTitleBar.

Double-clicktheDepthAlarmseldtoopentheDepthAlarmsdialog.

2Toactivatethealarms:

aDenevaluesforminimumandmaximumdepth.

bClicktoenableUseAlarmSoundifthisisdesired.

cInthetableatthebottomoftheDepthAlarmsdialog,clicktoactivatewhich

frequencychanneltobeusedforbottomdetection.

Thechoiceyoumakeherewillnothaveanyeffectontheechograms.Youonly

choosewhichfrequencychannelto“feed”thealarmsystem.

dClickOKtosavethecurrentsettingsandclosethedialog.

3Todisablealldepthalarms:

aClicktochooseDisableAlarmsifthisisdesired.

bObservethattheDepthAlarmseldchangesapperanceto

indicateyourchoice.

cClickOKtosavethecurrentsettingsandclosethedialog.

4Todisableonlyminimumor

maximumdepthalarm:

aSettherelevantalarmlimitto0(zero).
