aBitmapimagesaresavedwheneveryouclicktheScreenCapturebuttononthe

TitleBar.TheseimagesarerecalledbymeansoftheScreenCapturebuttonon

theStatusbar.

bEchogramsequences(rawdata)arerecordedusingtheRecordfunctiononthe

Operationmenu.ThesesequencesareplayedbackbyplacingtheES70inReplay

mode.

cA“historyle”isrecordedautomaticallyandcontinuously.Whentheleisfull,it

willstarttooverwritetheoldestdata,thuscreatinga“ringbuffer”.Toplaybackthe

historyle,clicktheHistorybuttonontheTitleBar.

Note

Rawdataleswillnormallybecomeverylarge.Ifyouwishtorecordlargeamountsof

ES70rawdata,makesurethatyouhaveenoughspaceonyouharddisk.Unlessyour

computerisequippedwithaverylargediskcapacity,werecommendthatyousavethe

rawdatatoanexternalstoragedevice.

1ClicktheOperationicon.

ThisiconislocatedundertheMainmenu.ItisusedtoopentheOperaiton

menu.

2ClickRecordtoopenthebutton’ssub-menu.

3ClickFileOutputtoopentheFileOutputdialog.

4IntheFileOutputdialog:

aOntheDirectorytab,denetheleoutputdirectory.

Thesearethedefaultdirectoriesforrawdata:

c:\documentsandsettings\allusers\applicationdata\simrad\ES70\data

Windows7

c:\programdata\\simrad\ES70\data

bOntheRawDatatab,clickSaveRawDatatoenablethisexport.

Rawdataaretheechodatareceiveddirectlyfromtheoutputofthetransceiver.

ThedatacanlaterbereplayedontheES70.Thedatacontainsampledata,echo

soundercongurationdata,navigationdata(NMEAformat)andannotations

(ifany).

cDeneanyotherparameterstotyourrequirements.
