Softwarebackupandrestore

WhentheEK60hasinstallationhasbeennalized,allthesettingshavebeenmade,and

allthetestshavebeenrun,youmustcreateasoftwarebackupwithallthesoftwareon

theProcessorUnit.

Note

Theproceduresprovidedhereassumethatyouhaveakeyboardandamouseavailable,

andthatyouarefamiliarwithcomputersandtheWindowsoperatingsystem.

AboutEK60backupandrestore

Softwarebackupisprovidedusingdedicatedsoftwareandstoragedevices.

AUSBmemorydeviceisincludedwiththeEK60system.Thisdeviceisbootable,andit

containsthefollowingfolders:

•WINXPimagewithlicense

Thisfoldercontainsthebackuplethatwascreatedduringthecomputersetup.It

containsthecompleteandlicensedoperatingsystem.ItdoesnotincludetheEK60

software.

•Root

TherootfoldercontainstheDOSbootlesandtheGhostutility.

Westronglyadviceyoutocreateyourownbackuponcetheinstallationhasbeen

completed.Yourbackupwillthenincludetheoperatingsystem,thesystemsoftware,as

wellasalltheinterfaceparametersthatyouhavedened.
