FThisisthelowerendofthedepthrange.Itisnormallyafewmetersbelowthe
bottomcontour,dependingonthechosenrange.

Inasurfaceechogram,settheStartRangevalueto0meters.Thiswill
maketheechogramstartfromtheseasurface(providedthatthetransducer
offsethasbeendened).SetRangetothecurrentdepthplus20meters.The
echogramwillnowshowtheareafromtheseasurfaceanddownto20
meters“below”thebottom.Thebottomcontouriseasilydetectedwhen
thedepthchanges.
ThebiomassisautomaticallycalculatedbasedonchoicesyoumakeintheCalculation
Intervaldialog;withinagiventimeframe,adenednumberofpings,oraportionof
theechogramview.Thedataisthentakenfromanechoareastartingimmediatelyafter
thetransmitpulse,andendingjustoverthedetecteddepth.Ifyouhavelimitedyour
