HF
High Frequency. The EQ 55 is provided with a high frequency channel to allow the
user to see greater detail of short range targets.
HF SETTINGS
High Frequency Settings. This menu selection allows the user to better configure
the high frequency channel to suit their needs.
INTERFACE
The connection between two pieces of equipment.
JOYSTICK
The Joystick is the control lever mounted on the front of the EQ 55. All operator
control of the system is performed by manipulating the joystick.
LF
Low Frequency. The EQ 55 is provided with a low frequency channel to allow the
user to see deeper targets than would normally be detectable with the high
frequency channel.
LF SETTINGS
Low Frequency Settings. This menu selection allows the user to better configure
the low frequency channel to suit their needs.
MANUAL RANGE
Manual Range selection allows the operator to set the range displayed on the EQ
55. The alternative would be to use Auto Range.
MARKER
Marker, or "Set Marker", allows the user to place an event marker on the screen
and on the printer (optional) output to mark an event.
MENU
The list of available selections shown in the upper left portion of the screen. The
user may move though the menu and make selections by using the Joystick.
