2.21 Tacking in AUTO W/A mode
The AUTO W/A mode on sail boats has also a tacking aid
function. When activated it will take the boat from the
course you are steering to a computed course that gives you
the same apparent wind on the other side. This tacking
function as compared to tacking in Auto Compass mode
can only be used when you are sailing with the apparent
wind as the reference, and with apparent wind angle less
than 80-90 degrees.
Note ! Refer to page 27 for particular considerations when
tacking.

Note ! If tack is not accepted within 30 seconds, the display
returns to initial AUTO W/A.
