TheGeneralPurposeTransceiver(GPT)isequippedwithanauxiliarysocket,andthis
interfacedevicesupportstriggerpulses.

WhentheES70systemissetuptooperateasaMasterinasystem,theTrigOutsignal
fromthetransceiver’sAuxiliaryconnectormustbeconnectedtotheexternaltriggerinput
ontheotherhydroacousticsystem(s).IfmorethanonetransceiverisusedbytheMaster
system,theTrigOutsignalmustbetakenfromtheactivetransceiver.TwoTrigOut
signalsareavailableforeitherpositiveornegativetriggering.Whenactivate,thetrigger
signalwillallowallthesystemstotransmitsimultaneously.
Note
Simultaneoustransmissionofmorethanonesystemcanonlytakeplaceifthesystems
operatewithdifferentfrequencies!
TheTrigOut+signalisanopencollectoroutput(max100mA)containinga100kohm
pullupresistorto+5Vdc.Thissignalisnormallylow.TheTrigOut+signalgoeshigh
whenthetransceiverisreadytotransmit,anditgoeslowagainwhenallfrequency
channelsofthetransceiverhavenishedtransmitting.
