Wiringprocedure
1LocatetheEthernetportyouwishtouse.
2IfnoEthernetportisavailable,anEthernetswitchmaybeinsertedbetweenthe
computerandthetransceiver.
3IfyouconnectanEthernetcabledirectlybetweentheES70computerandaremote
computer,youmustuseaEthernetcable.Ifyouconnecttheothercomputerby
meansofanEthernetswitch,youmustuse“straight”Ethernetcables.
Setupprocedure
1ClicktheSetupiconundertheMainmenutoopentheSetupsub-menu.
2ClickEthernetOutputtoopentheEthernetOutputdialog.
3DenetheRemotePort.
4DenetheRemoteIPAddressforthecomputeryouwishtoexporttheinformationto.
5SetCommunicationModetoBroadcast.
6IntheEthernetOutputdialog,clickEK500DatagramtoopentheEK500Datagram
dialog.
7OntheDatagramtab,denewhichdatagramsyouwishtoexport.
8ClickOKtosavethecurrentsettingsandclosethedialog.
