ThisprocedureisvalidforMicrosoftWindowsXP.

1OntheES70,exittheechosounderprogram,andaccesstheDesktop.

2ClicktheStartbuttoninthebottomleftcornerofthedesktop.

Onthemenu,selectSettings,andthenControlPanel.

3OntheControlPanel,selectNetworkconnections.

4Double-clickonLocalAreaConnectiontoopentheLocalAreaConnectionStatus

dialog.

5Atthebottomofthedialog,clickProperties.

6IntheLocalAreaConnectionPropertiesdialog,selectInternetProtocol(TCP/IP),

andclickProperties.

7ObservethattheInternetProtocol(TCP/IP)Propertiesdialogopens.

8ClickUsethefollowingIPaddress,andenterIPaddress:157.237.14.12.

ObservethattheSubnetmaskandDefaultgatewayaddressesappearautomatically.

Youdonotneedtochangethese.

9ClickOktoexittheInternetProtocol(TCP/IP)Propertiesdialog.

10ClickOktoexittheLocalAreaConnectionPropertiesdialog.

Administrationoffrequencychannels

Usethefollowingprocedurestoinstall,modifyordeletefrequencychannelsfromthe

echosoundersetup.

GeneralPurposeTransceivers(GPT)unitsphysicallyconnectedtotheechosounder’s

Ethernetinterfaceareidentiedautomaticallybythesystem.Whenyouopenthe

TransceiverInstallationdialogfromtheSetupmenu,alistwillbeprovided.Asingle

frequencytransceiveroccupiesoneentryinthelist,andadualfrequencytransceiver

occupiestwo.Eachentryisidentiedasafrequencychannel,andthelinedisplaysthe

parametersforthechannel.Entriesinthefrequencychannellistareshowninblack,

greenorredcolouridentifyingitscurrentstatus.
