itisdifcultorimpossibletoinstallablister,itmaystillbeworthwhile.Theprinciples
ofahullunitwitharetractabletransducerisshownbelow.
Vesselswithoutakeelandwithawide,atbottomisanexamplewherearetractable
hullunitcanbetheonlyacceptablemethodforbringingtheechosoundertransducer
belowtheboundarylayer.
