electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician.

WARNING: Install this kit only in luminaires with the construction features and dimensions shown in the

drawings below. Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components

during kit installation.

WARNING: To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or

other sharp objects.

THE RETROFIT KIT IS ACCEPTED AS A COMPONENT OF A LUMINAIRE WHERE THE

SUITABILITY OF THE COMBINATION SHALL BE DETERMINED BY CSA OR AUTHORITIES HAVING

JURISDICTION (AHJ).

THIS DEVICE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH EMERGENCY EXITS.

Installation Steps: 1. Select the Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) and wattage. 2. Unscrew the wing nut inside the can to remove socket bracket from can. Disengage the socket from the socket bracket by pressing in on the two spring clips on the socket (Fig. 1). 3. Thread the socket adapter into the socket (Fig. 2). NOTE: To comply with Title 24 (California New Construction Application), the unit must be plugged in with a quick-connect (orange female quick-connect included).
