clear banner motd

Deletes the message-of-the-day (MOTD) banner that is displayed before the login

prompt for each CLI session on the UNIVERGE WL Controller.

Syntax

clear banner motd

Defaults

None.

Access

Enabled.

Examples

To clear a banner, type the following command:

PROMPT# clear banner motd

success: change accepted

Note. As an alternative to clearing the banner, you can overwrite the existing

banner with an empty banner by typing the following command:

set banner
