’240x–’240 Family Compatibility
This chapter describes the compatibility issues between the ’240x and ’240
family of processors.
The software changes required between ’240 code and ’240x code have been
kept to a minimum. A majority of the register addresses, bit positions, and func-
tions are identical between the ’240 and ’240x devices.
