NOTE:
During this active foldback state any ON or RAISE/LOWER command, or a fault
reset will clear any foldback condition and the previous power output level will
be restored. However, if high a VSWR situation continues, the foldback routine
will repeat. If this is the case, the cause of the VSWR should be corrected before
continuing normal DAX operation.
3.4.5 DAX-1R PA Module Select - Optional
The DAX-1R redundant module option allows for automatic or manual module
switching. In the event of a failure of module A (bottom slot), the transmitter control
will switch to Module B (middle slot). The top slot is occupied by the Relay Module.
The operator can also manually switch to either PA as desired using the following
procedure.
3.4.5.1 Manual Selection of Redundant PA Module
STEP 1 Pressing the INFO button takes you to submenu screen
STEP 2 Select SETUP SUBMENU using the UP or DOWN buttons
STEP 3 Press ENTER to bring up a screen similar to below

NOTE:
The PA module change will not take place until transmitter is restarted (press ON
button).
STEP 4 With the PRIMARY PA: line highlighted, press ENTER
STEP 5 Using the UP or DOWN buttons select PA 1 (bottom slot PA), or PA 2
(middle slot)
STEP 6 Press enter to store the selection
STEP 7 Reset DAX transmitter by pressing ON button
