ASSEMBLY STEP 1 • Remove the hardware package and legs from the back of the headboard.
ASSEMBLY STEP 2 • • • Align pre-drilled holes on Legs (B) according to your desired headboard height. Attach Legs (B) to the Headboard (A) using Allen Key Screws (1) and Washers (2). Use Allen Key (3) to tighten.
ASSEMBLY STEP 3 • Place the Headboard (1) in the desired location to determine where you will mount it on the wall. This will be easier if you have someone helping you. • Mark the wall at the bottom edge and side of each lower corner of the Headboard (1). Do so by drawing two right angles faintly with a pencil. • Measure from the floor to the pencil marks on the wall. Ensure that they are both the same distance so that your Headboard (1) will sit level.
ASSEMBLY STEP 4 • • • • Measure the distance from the bottom of the Legs (B) to the brackets. Measure the distance from the sides of the Headboard (A) to the brackets. Transfer these measurements by marking them within the Headboard (A) outline that is on the wall. This will indicate where you will install the Wall Brackets (4).
ASSEMBLY STEP 5 • Affix the Wall Brackets (4) facing upward on the wall in the marked spots using Wall Anchors (5) and Screws (6).
ASSEMBLY STEP 6 • • Slide the Headboard (A) down the wall and into place by lifting it just high enough so that the brackets on the Headboard (A) slide into the Wall Brackets (4). Adjust the brackets as needed, if the Headboard (A) sits crooked or off center.
ASSEMBLY • Your Headboard assembly is complete. • Attaching the Headboard to a bed frame is OPTIONAL. If you choose to do this, you will need hardware (bolts and washers) and to drill holes in the Legs to attach the bed frame.
