CARE and MAINTENANCE Perhaps the greatest environmental damage to wood furniture comes from wide swings in relative humidity (RH) in our homes. Wood absorbs and desorbs water as relative humidity rises and falls, and in doing so it swells and shrinks. Making matters worse, it expands and contracts unequally along different grain directions.

ASSEMBLY MODEL # AXCBURBEN-W STEP 1 HR HL G 3 1. Attach 4 Cam Lock Pins 3 to pre-drilled holes at back of Drawer Front G . 2. Align Cam Lock Pins with guide holes and attach Drawer Sides HL , HR . 3. Insert 2 Cam Locks 3 into guide holes on each Drawer Side HL , HR . 4. Use flathead screwdriver to secure Cam Locks. STEP 2 HR J G HL 1. Slide Drawer Bottom J firmly into slots on Drawer Sides HL , HR and Drawer Front G .
ASSEMBLY MODEL # AXCBURBEN-W STEP 3 I HR J 2 5 G HL 1. Align Drawer Back I with Drawer Bottom J and press firmly into slot . 2. Attach back using 2 Allen Key Screws 2 through guide holes on each side. 3. Use Allen key 5 to tighten. Do not over-tighten. 4 STEP 4 NOTE: The screwdriver is not included in the hardware pack. G 1. Use Phillips Screwdriver to attach Handle 4 to Drawer Front G . Repeat Step 1-4 for the second drawer.

Attach Divider D to Seat A using 3 Allen Key Screws 2 through guide holes. 2. Use Allen Key 5 to tighten screws. Do not over-tighten.

Use rubber mallet to tap Dowels 6 into bottom of holes securely. 1/2 length of Dowels should be exposed. 3. Attach 6 Cam Lock Pins 3 to Seat A . 4. Align Dowels 6 with guide holes of Sides BL , BR . 5. Align Cam Lock Pins with guide holes and attach Sides BL , BR . 6.
ASSEMBLY MODEL # AXCBURBEN-W STEP 7 A F 7 1. Attach Back Panel F to back frame using 15 Phillips screw round head 7 . 2. Use Phillips screwdriver to snugly tighten screws. STEP 8 8 1. Insert 4 Wood bolt caps 8 into exposed bolt holes on side of bench. 2. Use rubber mallet to tap Wood Bolt Caps 8 into drilled holes securely. 3. Insert assembled drawers into glides on assembled Bench.
