AS/400 IBM Network Station: Techniques for Deployment in a WAN
1. Open the file flash.nsm in /QIBM/ProdData/NetworkStation/configs using a
PC editor.
2. Change the following line from:
set boot-desired-source = tftp
to:
set boot-desired-source = local
and
set modules-directory =
/QIBM/ProdData/NetworkStation/nsflash/mods
to:
set modules-directory = /local/mods
3. Ensure the file is saved to the directory
/QIBM/ProdData/NetworkStation/config .
Refer to Figure 15 on page 91 for an updated example of the
flash.nsm file
with all changes and additions made so far.
