Accessing SimpleSafe Partitions 13
Locking the Security Area in Windows
Locking the Security Area, closes the Security Area partition on your flash drive,
returns you to the application partition, and closes the SimpleSafe program.
To lock the Security
Area, do one of the
following:
• Double-click the
SimpleSafe ( )
drive icon.
or
• Right-click the
SimpleSafe ( )
drive icon, and
then click Lock.
To avoid data corruption or loss, exit all programs and close all files
running on the flash drive before logging out of the Security Area.
As a security precaution, SimpleSafe automatically closes the Security Area
when you unplug the flash drive from your computer. However, closing
SimpleSafe by disconnecting the drive can result in loss data if there is
activity on the drive.
