The variable-length data area of the

DLI_PROT_CFG_LINK command contains a speciﬁca-

tion list of one or more conﬁguration options for the speciﬁed SLC network connec-

tion. The available conﬁguration options are listed in Table 4–3. Each conﬁguration

option consists of a 16-bit unsigned integer option identiﬁer followed by a 16-bit

unsigned integer option value. Conﬁguration options can appear in any order. The ICP

uses the default value for each conﬁguration option not present in the speciﬁcation list.

When the SLC protocol service is conﬁgured as

SLC_ENVELOPE_SERVICE, only the fol-

lowing conﬁguration options are applicable:

SLC_CLOCK_CFG

SLC_EIA_CFG

SLC_T11_CFG

When the SLC protocol service is conﬁgured as SLC_LOW_LEVEL_NETWORK or

SLC_HIGH_LEVEL_NETWORK, the configuration options SLC_C2_CFG through SLC_C7_CFG

are optional. When speciﬁed, the ICP link numbers must be unique, must not conﬂict

with the

usProtLinkID header ﬁeld value, and must not conﬂict with ICP link numbers

assigned to channels associated with another SLC network connection.
