To attach the squeegee to the
garment / fabric refresher, place the
two hinges at the back of the squeegee
(see illustration) into the two open tabs
that are at the back of the garment /
fabric refresher. Swing the window
squeegee up against the bottom of the
garment / fabric refresher until the
locking tab engages (see Fig. 7).

To use the squeegee, make sure vapour
vents are always pointing downwards.
Cleaning side windows: move in a
downwards motion following the curve of
the window.
Cleaning windshield & rear windows, a
lateral movement working from top-to-
bottom is suggested.
The squeegee is also perfect for cleaning
mirrors.
CAUTION: When cleaning
windows, always avoid any sudden
changes in temperature to prevent
glass breakage or cracks.
CAUTION
: This appliance must
be unplugged from the electrical
outlet and allowed to cool down before
performing any cleaning or maintenance
tasks on the unit.
Empty any remaining water prior to
refilling to extend the life and performance
of your steam cleaner. A periodic rinse of
your steam cleaner will remove any scale
deposits. This is recommended every 10–
15 tankfulls. Fill the water tank with water
and shake vigorously. Tilt the cleaner
upside down to empty the water tank of
water and any scale deposits.
If you consistently use demineralized or
distilled water, cleaning the tank is
unnecessary.
Care & Maintenance
Step 2: Fill the boiler with 1 part vinegar
and 5 parts water and leave
overnight or for a period of
approximately 8 hours. Do not
screw the safety/filler cap onto
the steam cleaner while you are
descaling the water tank. Do not
use the steam cleaner while
descaling solution is inside the
water tank.
Step 3: After the period of soaking, turn
the steam cleaner upside down
to empty solution from the water
tank. Due to the fact that a small
amount of solution will be left in
the water tank, it is necessary to
rinse the water tank out with clean
water 2 or 3 times. Your steam
cleaner is now ready for use.
• Use tap or distilled water for all your
cleaning needs.
• However, if you live in an area with
hard water, use demineralized or
distilled water when steaming light
coloured fabrics to eliminate the
possibility of hard water stains.
• A periodic rinse to free the unit from
deposits is also good practice.
This is recommended every 10–15
tankfulls.
Tips for water usage
IMPORTANT: Do NOT add cleaning
solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any
other chemicals to the water used in
this unit. Use tap water or
distilled/purified water if the tap
water in your area is very hard. This
will automatically void the warranty.
Efficient Work
• For vertical surfaces, wipe with a
towel from top-to-bottom, this
way the dirty water will not soil
surfaces already cleaned.
• Avoid changing brushes while
cleaning.
Start with the smallest brush to
clean tight spots and corners first.
• Use a towel to wipe off dirt as soon
as possible, otherwise it will dry
and re-adhere to the surface.
Step 1: Unplug the steam cleaner from
the power source before you
descale the water tank, and allow
to cool.
Descaling your steam cleaner:
If the tap water in you area contains a high
level of calcium deposits and you have
been using tap water to do your steam
cleaning, you should descale your unit after
10–15 tankfulls.
Using the squeegee
1. Pour éviter de surcharger le circuit électrique, ne faites pas fonctionner un autre
appareil à partir de la même prise.
2. Si vous devez absolument utiliser une rallonge électrique, servez-vous d’un cordon
de calibre 14 de 15 A. Un cordon prévu pour un ampérage inférieur risque de
surchauffer. Disposez le cordon de manière à ce qu’on ne risque pas de tirer
dessus ou de trébucher.
3. Ne laissez pas l'appareil sans surveillance s’il est raccordé à une alimentation ou à
une prise de courant électrique.

AVERTISSEMENT :Cet appareil est muni d'un cordon
tri filaire avec mise à la terre (fiche à trois broches). Cette
fiche peut être insérée uniquement dans une prise de courant
électrique conçue pour une fiche à trois broches. Il s’agit-là d’une
caractéristique de protection. Si la fiche n’est pas adaptée à la prise
de courant, communiquez avec un électricien pour lui faire
remplacer la prise de courant. Ne tentez pas de contourner le
dispositif de protection de la tige de mise à la terre qui fait partie de
la fiche à trois broches.
ATTENTION :La force et la chaleur du jet de vapeur peuvent
affecter certains matériaux. Vérifiez toujours si le nettoyeur à vapeur
convient à la surface à nettoyer en effectuant un essai préliminaire
sur un endroit dissimulé.
Exemple (à titre d’indication seulement): - Le bois verni ou le cuir lustré peuvent
être blanchis par la vapeur.
- Les matériaux en plastique luisants
risquent également d’être ternis.
- L’acrylique, le velours et le lin sont
très sensibles à la température élevée
de la vapeur.
