Remove the Speaker and Microphone
(Refer to Figure 4.5)
(1) Remove the speaker retaining clip.
(2) Lift the speaker / microphone assembly away from the front casing taking care not to damage the
flexi-circuit.

Remove the MMI PCB
(Refer to Figure 4.6)
The MMI PCB is held in place by four plastic lugs on the front casing.
(1) Using a small flat bladed screwdriver, exert slight sideways and upwards pressure on the edge of the
PCB (close to one of the top retaining lugs) whilst exerting slight outward deflection of the casing
side walls (A). This will release the PCB from the retaining lugs.
(2) Lift the MMI PCB and LCD display assembly away from the front casing.

Remove the Switch Mat
The switch mat was held in place by the MMI PCB. Lift the switch mat clear of the casing.
