software
Contact your network administrator for
further assistance.
ISPM software does
not recognize an

connected via the
USB cable.
Ensure USB cable connections are secure.
Restart ISPM. If this fails, restart the
computer and try again.
Attempt to use another short (1m) USB
cable in case of USB cable damage.
Cannot add or
remove hardware
through ISPM
software.
See error message pop-ups for more details.
Ensure Player Units have power (if
applicable).
ISPM software
freezes or has
other navigating
issues.
Close ISPM and restart.
ISPM pop-up
indicates firmware
compatibility
issues.
Update firmware as necessary (see Software
and Firmware Updates, p.61). Contact your
network administrator to update ISPM
following start-up prompts if applicable.
When adding a
Player Unit through
ISPM, Player Unit ID
number is “0” or
“00”.
Alert Monitor was disconnected during the
programming process. Delete the Player
Unit from the software (see Deleting Players
or Equipment, p.49), plug Alert Monitor in
for the duration of the programming
process, re-add the Player Unit in ISPM, and
verify that a non-zero Player Unit ID number
appears.
