Alerts arrive from the field of play. When Alerts are downloaded from
the Alert Monitor, the most recent 25 Alerts are retained by the Alert
Monitor for convenient on-field reference of recent team Alert history.
CHECK-INS MENU
The CHECK-INS menu displays how many Player Units have established
communication (checked in) with the Alert Monitor for the day. For the
example shown below with two equipped players:
2 OUT OF 2 will be displayed if all Player Units have checked in, -OR-
1 OUT OF 2 will be displayed if only one Player Unit has checked in.
Select VIEW ABSENT to see which Player Units have not established
communication for the day.
Select VIEW ERRORS to review error code information that may be
available for malfunctioning equipment. Some examples of possible
error messages include:
LOW BATTERY Low Player Unit battery
BAD HIT SENSOR - Indicates failure of Player Unit electronics
UNKNOWN ERR general error message, followed by a numeric
code

Player Units will only check in if powered on, awakened from sleep by
motion, and are present within 50 yards of an operating Alert Monitor
