To view the Alert detail, highlight the desired Alert on the Alert History
screen using the UP/DOWN buttons and press the SELECT button. More
detailed information will be shown.
Alerts are classified either as “Single Impact” or “Multiple Impact (see
Alert Types, p.53).
Single Impact Alerts - are created for those impacts whose
severities are above a predetermined threshold for the player
position and play level as assigned in the player management
software.
Multiple Impact Alerts - are created by a combination of
1. Time-weighted cumulative impact exposure score,
composed from a subset of the highest magnitude
impacts experienced over the last seven days, and
2. Magnitude of the most recent incoming impact.
Riddell recommends that Alerts be downloaded to InSite Player
Management software on a daily basis, so that Alert information is
saved permanently within InSite Player Management software, and to
maintain free memory on the Alert Monitor to receive incoming Alerts.
The Alert Monitor has memory for up to 204 Alerts, and when memory
has capacity for less than 50 Alerts, the Alert Monitor will display:
ALERTS ALMOST FULL. CONNECT INSITE SOON’. If memory becomes
full, existing Alerts stored on the Alert Monitor will be lost when new
