WARNING - RISK OF INJURY!
► Heat water only with the lid closed, otherwise the automatic
switch-off cannot function. Boiling water could then spray out
over the rim.
► Always use the scale fi lter insert when operating the appliance.
► Hot steam clouds may be released. The kettle also becomes
very hot during use. It is always best to wear oven mitts
when handling the kettle.
► Ensure that the appliance is stood stably and vertically
before switching it on. Boiling water can cause an unstable
kettle to fall over.
► Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
► This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/
or knowledge if they are supervised or, in regard to the safe
use of the appliance, have been instructed in its use and
have understood the potential risks.
► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or
more if they are supervised or, in regard to the safe use of
the appliance, have been instructed in its use and have un-
derstood the potential risks. Cleaning and user maintenance
tasks should not be carried out by children unless they are
aged 8 years or more and are supervised. The device and its
connecting cable must be kept away from children younger
than 8 years old.
► Children may not play with the appliance.
► Do not fi ll the kettle up to more than the MAX marking!
Otherwise boiling water may spill out!
