 DANGER
 ► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk 
of suffocation.
 Ƈ Remove all parts and the operating instructions from the box.
 Ƈ Remove all packaging materials and any protective films from the appliance. 
Requirements for the set-up location
For safe and trouble-free operation of the UV appliance , the set-up location 
must fulfil the following requirements:
 ■ Place the UV appliance  on a stable, horizontal and dry surface.
 ■ Do not set up the UV appliance  in a wet environment or anywhere it 
will be exposed to splashes.
 ■ Do not set up the UV appliance  directly next to a radiator or electric fire.
 ■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible so that the mains plug 
3 can easily be pulled out in an emergency.
Handling and operation
Switching the UV appliance on/off
 Ƈ Connect the barrel plug !of the mains plug 3with the socket on 
the UV appliance and plug the mains plug 3into a mains socket. 
The operating light  lights up red, operating lamp of the 10 s button 
lights up blue.
 Ƈ To switch off the UV appliance  completely, pull the mains plug3 
from the mains power socket.
Functions
Three different treatment times can be set on the UV appliance :
 ■ 60 seconds 
 ■ 30 seconds 
 ■ 10 seconds 
 Ƈ Press the 10 s, 30 s or 60 s button () and the UV LEDs switch 
on. The operating light lights up green during the treatment, operating 
lightof the respective time selection button () lights up blue.
 Ƈ During operation, if you want to select a different treatment time, press 
the respective time selection button () twice.
