 ■ UV radiation can lead to injuries to your eyes and skin, such
as premature skin ageing or even skin cancer. Read the op-
erating instructions carefully. Some medications and cosmet-
ics can increase your sensitivity to UV radiation.
 ■ Unprotected eyes can suffer superficial inflammation and, in
some cases, excessive exposure can cause retinal damage.
Frequent repeated exposure can lead to cataracts.
 ■ If you have a confirmed sensitivity to or allergy against UV
radiation, you should consult your doctor before exposure.
 ■ Certain illnesses or the side-effects of certain medications
can be aggravated by UV radiation. If in doubt please,
 refer to your doctor.
 ■ Leave a gap of at least 48 hours between the first two
 exposures.
 ■ Avoid sunbathing and the use of the UV appliance on the
same day. This could lead to skin irritation.
 ■ Follow the instructions regarding the length of exposure, the
exposure intervals and the distance to the lamp. Otherwise,
you could be at risk of skin irritations.
 ■ Consult a doctor if persistent swellings or ulcers or changes
to liver spots occur or sore spots form.
 ■ Protect sensitive skin areas such as scars, tattoos and
 genitals from exposure.
 ■ Do not carry out more than 5 treatments per day. This could
lead to skin irritation.
 ■ Do not exceed the recommended number of 400 treatments
per year.
 ■ Remove cosmetics in good time before exposure and do not
use any sunscreen or products that accelerate tanning.
 NOTE
► If you are in any doubt about the suitability of the product, ask your
doctor before using the UV appliance.
