CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE
► Do not allow any liquids or moisture to get into the UV
appliance. Never immerse the UV appliance in water and
never set up the UV appliance in the vicinity of water.
► Do not operate or place the UV appliance close to an
open flame (e.g. candles).
► Avoid direct sunlight.
► Always pull the plug from the mains power socket by
pulling on the plug, not the cable.
► In the case of malfunctions or a thunderstorm, disconnect
the plug from the mains power socket.
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
UV appliances may not be used on:
► people suffering from skin cancer or who have a predis-
position for this,
► people taking medications that increase sensitivity to light,
► people under 18 years of age,
► people with a tendency to develop freckles,
► people with natural red hair,
► people with unusual skin discolorations,
► people with more than 16 liver spots (with a diameter of
at least 2 mm) on their body,
► people with atypical liver spots (atypical liver spots are
asymmetrical liver spots with a diameter of more than 5
mm and varying pigmentation as well as irregular edges;
in case of doubt, consult your doctor),
► people suffering from sunburn,
► people who do not tan in sunlight without burning,
► people who burn quickly on exposure to sunlight,
► people who have suffered frequently from severe sunburn
during their childhood,
