The device is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the scope described. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by failure to observe these instructions, improper use or repairs, unauthorised modifications or the use of unapproved replacement parts. ■■ Do not make any unauthorised modifications or alterations to the device. ■■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by the Customer Service department. Improper repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any warranty claims. ■■ Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be carried out by a customer service department authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise, no warranty claims will be held for any subsequent damages.
■■ The cable must be routed so it does not interfere with the operation of the vehicle. The cable may not be routed in the deployment area of the airbag, otherwise this could cause serious injuries if the airbag is triggered. ■■ Do not use any adapter or extension cable to connect the car charger adapter to the power supply. ■■ DANGER! Comply with all local laws. Your hands must always be free to operate the vehicle safely when you are driving. Traffic safety must always take priority whilst driving.
Notes on the radio interface ■■ Keep the device at least 20 cm away from a pacemaker, as the proper functioning of the pacemaker could be affected by radio waves. ■■ The transmitted radio waves can cause noise interference in hearing aids. ■■ Do not use the device with the radio components switched on in the presence of flammable gases or in a potentially explosive atmosphere (e.g. in a paint shop), as the transmitted radio waves can cause an explosion or ignite a fire.
DANGER ►► Leaking or damaged batteries can cause skin irritations when touched. Therefore, use suitable protective gloves. If the product comes in contact with your skin, rinse with plenty of water. If the chemicals come into contact with your eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, do not rub and consult a doctor immediately. ►► During extended periods of non-use (e.g. during storage), remove the battery from the hands-free set to prevent damage caused by battery leakage.
Operation Check package contents (See fold-out page for illustrations) The product includes the following components: ●● Hands-free set SFA 40 A1 ●● Mounting clip ●● Li-ion-rechargeable battery BL-5B ●● Car charger adapter ●● These operating instructions (not shown) ♦♦ Unpack all parts of the device from the packaging and remove all packaging materials. NOTE ►► Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.
Inserting the Li-ion battery ♦♦ Open the battery compartment by pressing on the battery compartment cover and pushing it in the direction of the embossed arrow. ♦♦ Insert the Li-ion battery into the battery compartment . Ensure that the three contacts of the battery lie in the same corner as the three pins in the battery compartment . The type plate of the rechargeable batteries should be facing upwards. The structure of the battery will not allow it to be inserted any other way.
CAUTION ►► Only charge the battery in the hands-free set, as the corresponding charging electronics are built into the device. ►► Charge the battery only when the motor is running to preserve your car battery. ►► Do not charge the battery while the hands-free set is attached to the sun visor as the connecting cable may interfere with the operation of the vehicle. ►► Alternatively, the battery can be charged on a PC or an external mains adapter.
Pairing the hands-free set with a compatible mobile phone Before you can use the hands-free set, you must pair it with a compatible mobile telephone. ♦♦ With the hands-free set switched off, press the multifunction butfor about 6 seconds until you hear a rising series ton of beeps and the operating LED flashes alternately blue and orange. The hands-free set is now in pairing mode for about 2 minutes.
Multipoint function The multipoint function allows you to use the hands-free set with two mobile phones simultaneously. This is useful for users with a private and a business mobile phone. ♦♦ The pairing of additional mobile phones is carried out in the same manner as described in the section “Pairing the handsfree set with a compatible mobile phone”. Start the pairing process for each phone with the hands-free set switched off.
Activating/deactivating the multipoint function The multipoint function is activated by default on delivery. To disable the multipoint function: ♦♦ In standby mode, press the button for approx. 3 seconds. The operating LED lights up briefly orange before going out completely. You will hear a low beep, followed by a series of beeps decreasing in pitch. The hands-free set switches off and multiple mobile phones can no longer be paired with the device.
Accepting/ending a call When there is an incoming call, the operating LED flashes blue every 3 seconds and you can hear a ring tone over the hands-free set. Even if the call tone is switched off on your mobile phone, you will still hear the ring tone via the hands-free set. ♦♦ Press the multifunction button the call. once briefly to accept ♦♦ Press the multifunction button ongoing call.
♦♦ Press the multifunction button again twice to toggle between the two calls. When the current call is finished, the hands-free set switches automatically to the second ongoing call. ♦♦ Press the multifunction button once briefly to end the current call and automatically accept the second call. Automatic call answering If automatic call answering is activated on your mobile phone, it will automatically accept incoming calls after a preset time and re-route them to the hands-free set.
Muting the microphone You can temporarily mute the microphone the other caller cannot hear you. during a call so that . You will hear a beep and the oper♦♦ Press the mute button ating LED lights up orange. The microphone is now muted. ♦♦ Press the mute button again to end the muting. You will hear a beep and the operating LED lights up blue every 6 seconds. The microphone is now reactivated. Resetting the hands-free set The hands-free set can be paired with up to 8 mobile phones.
Attachment to the sun visor You can attach the hands-free set to your car’s sun visor using the supplied mounting clip . ♦♦ To do this, fix the mounting clip into the mounting clip recess on the rear of the hands-free set. Now you can easily fix the hands-free set to the sun visor of your vehicle. DANGER ►► The hands-free set must be attached so that it does not impair your line of sight while driving. Troubleshooting The hands-free set does not function. ♦♦ Check whether the Li-ion battery is charged.
The hands-free set cannot be paired with a mobile phone ♦♦ Check whether the Bluetooth® function is activated on your mobile phone. ♦♦ Check whether the hands-free set is switched on. ♦♦ If you use multiple mobile phones, ensure that there is only one active connection with a mobile phone. ♦♦ Make sure that the hands-free set is no more than 10 metres from the mobile phone and that there are no barriers or electronic devices between them.
DANGER ►► Replace the fuse only with another of the same type. Fuses with a different rating could cause a fire. NOTE ►► If the device still does not work or the fuse blows again immediately, the device is defective. In this case, please contact the Service Hotline (see section "Service"). Cleaning CAUTION ►► Disconnect the device from the power supply during cleaning to prevent risks. ►► To avoid irreparable damage to the device, ensure that no moisture can penetrate the device during cleaning.
Storage when not in use CAUTION The temperatures inside the vehicle can reach extreme values in summer and winter. Therefore, to avoid damage to the device, do not store it in the vehicle. ♦♦ Store the device in a location that is clean, dry, dust-free and not in direct sunlight. ♦♦ To ensure a long battery life, charge the battery at regular intervals. Mettre en place l'accu Li-ion ♦♦ Ouvrez le compartiment à accu , en appuyant au milieu sur le couvercle du compartiment à accu, et en le tirant dans le sens de la flèche marquée. ♦♦ Placez l'accu Li-ion dans le compartiment à accu . Veillez à ce que les trois surfaces de contact sur l'accu se trouvent dans le même angle que les trois tiges dans le compartiment à accu . La plaque signalétique de l'accu pointe vers le haut. Pour des raisons de conception, il n'est pas possible de placer l'accu différemment.
ATTENTION ►► Chargez l'accu dans le kit mains-libres, qui comporte l'électronique de charge correspondante. ►► Chargez uniquement l'accu lorsque le moteur tourne, pour ménager la batterie de votre véhicule. ►► Ne chargez pas l’accu lorsque le kit mains-libres est fixé au pare-soleil, sans quoi le câble de raccordement risque de vous gêner lors de la conduite du véhicule. ►► L'accu peut également être chargé sur un PC ou un bloc d'alimentation externe.
Appairer le kit mains-libres avec un téléphone mobile compatible Avant de pouvoir utiliser le kit mains-libres, vous devez l'appairer avec un téléphone portable compatible (appairage). du kit mains-libres ♦♦ Maintenez la touche multifonction appuyée pendant env. 6 secondes, jusqu'à ce qu'une séquence sonore croissante retentisse et que la LED de service clignote en alternance en bleu et en orange. Le kit mains-libres se trouve maintenant en mode d'appairage pour 2 minutes environ.
Fonction multipoint La fonction multipoint permet l'utilisation parallèle du kit mains-libres avec deux téléphones mobiles. Ceci est intéressant pour les utilisateurs qui possèdent un téléphone mobile privé, et un professionnel. ♦♦ L'appairage d'autres téléphones mobiles avec le kit mains-libres fonctionne sur la même base que celle décrite au chapitre "Appairer le kit mains-libres avec un téléphone mobile compatible". L'appairage débute pour chaque nouvel appareil avec le kit mains-libres éteint.
Activer/désactiver la fonction multipoint La fonction multipoint est activée par défaut à la livraison. ♦♦ Appuyez à nouveau brièvement deux fois sur la touche multipour passer entre les deux appels. Une fois fonction la conversation en cours terminée, le kit mains-libres passe automatiquement au second appel en cours. ♦♦ Appuyez une fois brièvement sur la touche multifonction , pour terminer la conversation en cours et prendre automatiquement le second appel.
Mettre le microphone en sourdine Pendant une conversation, vous pouvez éteindre le microphone temporairement, de manière à ce que l'interlocuteur ne puisse plus vous entendre. . Un signal sonore ♦♦ Appuyez sur la touche de sourdine retentit et la LED de service s'allume en orange. Le microphone est maintenant en sourdine. ♦♦ Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche de sourdine pour quitter le mode sourdine. Un signal sonore résonne et la LED de service s'allume en bleu toutes les 6 secondes.
Fixation au pare-soleil Vous pouvez fixer le kit mains-libre à l'aide du clip de fixation au pare-soleil de votre véhicule. livré ♦♦ Fixez pour cela le clip de fixation dans le logement du clip de fixation au dos du kit mains-libres. Impossible d'appairer le kit mains-libres avec un téléphone mobile. ♦♦ Vérifiez si la fonction Bluetooth® est activée sur votre téléphone mobile. ♦♦ Vérifiez si le kit mains-libres est allumé. ♦♦ Si vous utilisez plusieurs téléphones mobiles, assurez-vous qu'il n'existe pas plus d'une liaison active avec un téléphone portable. ♦♦ Assurez-vous que le kit mains libres ne soit pas plus loin que 10 m maximum du téléphone mobile et qu'aucun obstacle ou appareil électronique ne se trouve entre les deux.

Aanwijzingen voor de draadloze interface ■■ Houd het apparaat op minstens 20 cm afstand van een pacemaker, omdat anders de functies van de pacemaker kunnen worden beïnvloed door de radiogolven. ■■ De radiogolven kunnen storende geluiden in gehoorapparaten veroorzaken. ■■ Breng het apparaat, als de radiografische component is ingeschakeld, niet in de buurt van ontvlambare gassen of in een omgeving waar explosiegevaar heerst (bijv. spuiterijen), omdat de radiogolven een explosie of brand kunnen veroorzaken.

Li-ion-accu plaatsen ♦♦ Open het accuvak door midden op de afdekking van het accuvak te drukken en de afdekking in de richting van de ingegraveerde pijl weg te trekken. ♦♦ Leg de li-ion-accu in het accuvak . Let erop dat de drie contactvlakken van de accu zich in dezelfde hoek bevinden als de drie pennen in het accuvak . Het typeplaatje van de accu wijst daarbij omhoog. Door de constructie is het niet mogelijk de accu anders te plaatsen. ♦♦ Sluit na plaatsing van de accu het accuvak ervan.
LET OP ►► Laad de accu alleen op in de handsfree installatie, omdat die is voorzien van de passende oplaadelektronica. ►► Laad de accu alleen op bij draaiende motor, om de accu van uw voertuig te sparen. ►► Laad de batterij niet op als de handsfree installatie aan de zonneklep is bevestigd, omdat de kabel u kan hinderen bij het bedienen van de auto. ►► Als alternatief kan de accu ook worden opgeladen via een PC of een externe netvoeding.
Handsfree installatie koppelen met een compatible mobiele telefoon Voordat u de handsfree installatie kunt gaan gebruiken, moet u deze eerst aan een compatibele mobiele telefoon koppelen (pairing). ♦♦ Houd bij uitgeschakelde handsfree installatie de multifunctieca. 6 seconden ingedrukt, tot er een stijgende toets reeks tonen klinkt en de bedrijfs-LED afwisselend blauw en oranje knippert. De koppelingsmodus van de handsfree installatie is nu ca. 2 minuten lang actief.
Multipoint-functie De multipoint-functie maakt gelijktijdig gebruik van de handsfree installatie met twee mobiele telefoons mogelijk. Dit is handig voor gebruikers met twee aparte mobiele telefoons voor privégebruik en zakelijk gebruik. ♦♦ De koppeling van andere mobiele telefoons met de handsfree werkt hetzelfde als beschreven in het hoofdstuk ”Handsfree installatie koppelen met een compatible mobiele telefoon”. De koppeling begint voor elk nieuwe apparaat met een uitgeschakelde handsfree installatie.
Multipoint-functie deactiveren/activeren Bij levering is de multipoint-functie standaard geactiveerd. De multipoint-functie deactiveren: ♦♦ Houd in de stand-bymodus de toets ca. 3 seconden ingedrukt. Telefoongesprek aannemen / beëindigen Bij een inkomend gesprek knippert de bedrijfs-LED om de 3 seconden één keer blauw en hoort u via de handsfree installatie een gesprekstoon. Wanneer het belsignaal op uw mobiele telefoon is uitgeschakeld, wordt het via de handsfree installatie doorgegeven. ♦♦ Druk één keer kort op de multifunctietoets oproep aan te nemen. om de ♦♦ Druk één keer kort op de multifunctietoets aangenomen gesprek te beëindigen.
♦♦ Druk nogmaals twee keer kort op de multifunctietoets om te switchen tussen beide gesprekken. Wanneer het lopende gesprek wordt beëindigd, schakelt de handsfree installatie automatisch over op het tweede lopende gesprek. ♦♦ Druk één keer kort op de multifunctietoets om het lopende gesprek te beëindigen en automatisch de tweede oproep aan te nemen.
Geluid van de microfoon uitschakelen Tijdens een gesprek kunt u de microfoon tijdelijk uitschakelen, zodat de gesprekspartner u niet meer kan horen. . Er klinkt een geluidssignaal ♦♦ Druk op de toets Geluid uit en de bedrijfs-LED knippert oranje. Het geluid van de microfoon is nu uitgeschakeld. ♦♦ Druk nogmaals op de toets Geluid uit om het geluid van de microfoon weer in te schakelen. Er klinkt een geluidssignaal en de bedrijfs-LED brandt om de 6 seconden blauw.
Bevestiging aan de zonneklep U kunt de handsfree installatie met behulp van de meegeleverde clip bevestigen aan de zonneklep van uw voertuig. ♦♦ Bevestig hiertoe de clip in de bevestiging voor de clip aan de achterkant van de handsfree installatie. Nu kunt u de handsfree installatie probleemloos aanbrengen op de zonneklep van uw voertuig. gevaar ►► De handsfree installatie moet zodanig worden aangebracht, dat uw zicht niet wordt belemmerd. Problemen oplossen De handsfree installatie werkt niet.
De handsfree installatie kan niet met een mobiele telefoon worden gekoppeld. ♦♦ Controleer of op de mobiele telefoon de Bluetooth®-functie is geactiveerd. ♦♦ Controleer of de handsfree installatie is ingeschakeld. ♦♦ Wanneer u meerdere mobiele telefoons gebruikt, vergewist u zich ervan dat er niet meer dan één actieve verbinding met een mobiele telefoon is.

Das Anschlusskabel darf nicht im Auslösebereich des Airbags verlegt werden, da es ansonsten beim Aufblasen der Airbags zu ernsthaften Verletzungen kommen kann. ■■ Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker oder Verlängerungskabel, um den KFZ-Ladeadapter an die Spannungsversorgung anzuschließen. ■■ GEFAHR! Befolgen Sie alle örtlichen Gesetze.
Hinweise zur Funkschnittstelle ■■ Halten Sie das Gerät mindestens 20 cm von einem Herzschrittmacher fern, da sonst die ordnungsgemäßen Funktionen des Herzschrittmachers durch Funkwellen beeinträchtigt werden können. ■■ Die übertragenen Funkwellen können Störgeräusche in Hörgeräten verursachen. ■■ Bringen Sie das Gerät mit eingeschalteter Funkkomponente nicht in die Nähe entflammbarer Gase oder in eine explosionsgefährdete Umgebung (z. B.
gefahr ►► Ausgelaufene oder beschädigte Batterien/Akkus können bei Berührung Hautreizungen verursachen, benutzen Sie deshalb in diesem Fall geeignete Schutzhandschuhe. Bei Hautkontakt mit viel Wasser abspülen. Wenn die Chemikalien in die Augen gelangt sind, grundsätzlich mit viel Wasser ausspülen, nicht reiben und sofort einen Arzt aufsuchen. ►► Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch (z. B. bei Lagerung) entnehmen Sie den Akku aus der Freisprechanlage, um Schäden durch einen auslaufenden Akku zu vermeiden.

HINWEIS ►► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
Li-Ionen-Akku einlegen ♦♦ Öffnen Sie das Akkufach , indem Sie mittig auf die Akkufachabdeckung drücken und diese in Richtung des eingeprägten Pfeiles abziehen. ♦♦ Legen Sie den Li-Ionen-Akku in das Akkufach ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass die drei Kontakteflächen am Akku in der gleichen Ecke liegen, wie die drei Stifte im Akkufach . Das Typenschild des Akkus zeigt dabei nach oben. Bauartbedingt ist es nicht möglich den Akku anders einzulegen.
ACHTUNG ►► Laden Sie den Akku nur in der Freisprechanlage auf, da in dieser die entsprechende Ladeelektronik enthalten ist. ►► Laden Sie den Akku nur bei laufendem Motor, um die Batterie Ihres Fahrzeugs zu schonen. ►► Laden Sie den Akku nicht, wenn die Freisprechanlage an der Sonnenblende befestigt ist, da ansonsten das Anschlusskabel Sie bei der Bedienung des Fahrzeugs behindern kann. ►► Alternativ kann der Akku auch an einen PC oder einem externen Netzteil geladen werden.
Freisprechanlage mit einem kompatiblen Mobiltelefon koppeln Bevor Sie die Freisprechanlage verwenden können, müssen Sie sie mit einem kompatiblen Mobiltelefon koppeln (pairing). ♦♦ Halten Sie bei ausgeschalteter Freisprechanlage die Multifür ca. 6 Sekunden gedrückt, bis eine funktionstaste aufsteigende Tonfolge ertönt und die Betriebs-LED abwechselnd blau und orange blinkt. Die Freisprechanlage befindet sich nun für ca. 2 Minuten im Kopplungsmodus.
Multipoint-Funktion Die Multipoint-Funktion ermöglicht die gleichzeitige Nutzung der Freisprechanlage mit zwei Mobiltelefonen. Das ist vorteilhaft für Benutzer mit einem privaten und einem beruflichen Mobiltelefon. ♦♦ Die Kopplung von weiteren Mobiltelefonen mit der Freisprechanlage funktioniert auf dieselbe Weise wie im Kapitel „Freisprechanlage mit einem kompatiblen Mobiltelefon koppeln“ beschrieben. Die Kopplung beginnt für jedes neue Gerät bei ausgeschalteter Freisprechanlage.
Multipoint-Funktion deaktivieren/aktivieren Bei Auslieferung ist die Multipoint-Funktion standardmäßig aktiviert. Zum Deaktivieren der Multipoint-Funktion: ♦♦ Drücken Sie im Standby-Modus die Taste für ca. 3 Sekunden. Die Betriebs-LED leuchtet kurz orange und erlischt dann vollständig. Es ertönt ein tiefer Signalton, gefolgt von einer absteigenden Tonfolge. Die Freisprechanlage schaltet sich aus und es können nicht mehr mehrere Mobiltelefone gekoppelt werden. Zum Aktivieren der Multipoint-Funktion: für ca.
Anruf annehmen / beenden Bei eingehendem Anruf blinkt die Betriebs-LED alle 3 Sekunden einmal blau und Sie hören über die Freisprechanlage einen Rufton. Wenn das Anrufsignal an Ihrem Mobiltelefon ausgeschaltet ist, wird dennoch der Rufton über die Freisprechanlage ausgegeben. ♦♦ Drücken Sie die Multifunktionstaste den Anruf anzunehmen. einmal kurz, um ♦♦ Drücken Sie die Multifunktionstaste den angenommenen Anruf zu beenden.
♦♦ Drücken Sie erneut zweimal kurz die Multifunktionstaste , um zwischen den beiden Anrufen zu wechseln. Wenn das laufende Gespräch beendet wird, schaltet die Freisprechanlage automatisch zu dem zweiten laufenden Anruf um. ♦♦ Drücken Sie einmal kurz die Multifunktionstaste , um das laufende Gespräch zu beenden und automatisch den zweiten Anruf anzunehmen.
Mikrofon stummschalten Sie können während eines Gesprächs das Mikrofon zeitweilig abschalten, so dass der Gesprächspartner Sie nicht mehr hören kann. . Ein Signalton ertönt und die ♦♦ Drücken Sie die Stummtaste Betriebs-LED orange leuchtet. Das Mikrofon ist jetzt stummgeschaltet. ♦♦ Drücken Sie die Stummtaste erneut, um die Stummschaltung zu beenden. Es ertönt ein Signalton und die Betriebs-LED leuchtet alle 6 Sekunden blau. Das Mikrofon ist jetzt wieder eingeschaltet.
Befestigung an der Sonnenblende Sie können die Freisprechanlage mit Hilfe des mitgelieferten Halteclips an der Sonnenblende Ihres Fahrzeugs befestigen. ♦♦ Befestigen hierzu den Halteclip in der Halteclip-Aufnahme auf der Rückseite der Freisprechanlage. Jetzt können Sie die Freisprechanlage problemlos an der Sonnenblende Ihres Fahrzeugs anbringen. gefahr ►► Die Freisprechanlage muss so angebracht werden, dass Ihre Sicht nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Fehlerbehebung Die Freisprechanlage zeigt keine Funktion.
Die Freisprechanlage lässt sich nicht mit einem Mobiltelefon koppeln. ♦♦ Prüfen Sie, ob am Mobiltelefon die Bluetooth® -Funktion aktiviert ist. ♦♦ Prüfen Sie, ob die Freisprechanlage eingeschaltet ist. ♦♦ Wenn Sie mehrere Mobiltelefone verwenden, stellen Sie sicher, dass nicht mehr als eine aktive Verbindung mit einem Mobiltelefon besteht. ♦♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Freisprechanlage maximal 10 Meter vom Mobiltelefon entfernt ist und sich keine Hindernisse oder elektronische Geräte dazwischen befinden.

Lagerung bei Nichtbenutzung ACHTUNG Die Temperaturen im Fahrzeuginnenraum können im Sommer und Winter extreme Werte erreichen. Lagern Sie das Gerät deshalb nicht im Fahrzeug, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden. ♦♦ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubgeschützten Ort ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. ♦♦ Laden Sie den Akku in regelmäßigen Abständen auf, um eine lange Lebensdauer des Akkus zu gewährleisten.
