■ In case of frequent use, grinding dust and metal residues might settle on the
grinding stones on the inside.
Clean the grinding stones as follows:
– Hold one finger against the wide end of the black protective caps of
sharpening bases / and press down against the short end at
the same time. Lift off the protective caps of sharpening bases /
simultaneously.
– Clean the now visible grinding stones using a brush or similar.
– Fit the two black protective caps / back on. Ensure that you do not
confuse the protective caps.
Storage
■ Clean the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning”.
■ Remove the mains adapter  from the appliance.
■ Store the appliance and the mains adapter  in a clean and dry location.
Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance via an approved waste disposal company or your
municipal waste disposal facility. Please observe applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.
Do not dispose of the mains adapter in your normal domestic
waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the mains adapter through an approved disposal centre or at your
community waste facility. Please comply with all applicable regulations. Please
contact your waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.
