If your clothes are heavily creased, use the
steam function by pressing the steam burst but-
ton . To produce steam, set the temperature
control UPtttPSIJHIFS
If the heat-up indicator lamp lights up during
operation, do not press the steam blast button
again: wait a few seconds until the heat-up
indicator lamp goes out.
Only repeat pressing the steam burst button
until the heat-up indicator lamp lights up or
water drips from the ironing sole . Wait until
the heat-up indicator lamp goes out before
initiating another burst of steam.
NOTE
If you press the steam burst button while
the heat-up indicator lamp is illuminated,
the appliance will produce condensation
instead of steam, and water will drip from the
ironing sole .
If the water tank runs dry during operation ,
pull the mains plug before refilling it.
To set the appliance down briefly during opera-
tion, unfold the stand to the front and lean
the appliance on it. To resume use of the appli-
ance, simply fold the stand back to the rear.
After using the steam brush
Set the temperature control to “MIN”.
Always disconnect the plug from the mains
power socket after use.
Empty the water tank by opening the filler
opening of the water tank , turning the ap-
pliance upside down and swinging it gently.
Cleaning and care
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
Always disconnect the mains plug before
cleaning the appliance. There is a risk of
electric shock! Allow the appliance to cool
down. Risk of burns!
CAUTION
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. These
may damage the surfaces.
Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth only.
Clean the metal parts of the appliance with a
damp cloth and a mild, non-scouring detergent.
To clean the ironing sole , wipe it with a
damp cloth and a small amount of dish soap.
Descaling
If the appliance produces less steam over time,
descale the steam brush.
You can do this with a regular descaling agent
containing citric acid. Adhere to the instructions
of the descaling agent.
Storage
CAUTION
Unplug the mains plug and allow the ap-
pliance to cool down before putting it away.
Risk of fire!
Store the appliance in a dry place. You can
hang the appliance up by the hanger .
