Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging
materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of
disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that
are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period so that the appliance can be packed properly for return shipment
in the event of a warranty claim.
Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material compo-
nents for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with abbreviations
(b) and numbers (a) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics
20–22: Paper and cardboard
80–98: Composites

the blue pad o for sensitive surfaces, such as parquet flooring,
the white pad 6 for more robust surfaces, such as tiled floors.

onto the carpet ring p. Ensure that the carpet ring unlocking aid a is in
line with the connection nozzle 4. Push the steam foot 5 onto the carpet
ring p so that it clicks audibly into place. This will allow the pad 6/o to
glide over the carpet.
To remove the carpet ring p, press your foot onto the carpet ring release
aid a and pull the steam foot 5 carefully off the carpet ring p.
