 the device should not be placed in the immediate vicinity of
magnetic fields (e.g. speakers);
 no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) should be placed near the
device;
 no liquid should penetrate the open battery compartment/card
slot;
 no foreign objects should penetrate the device;
 the device should not be subjected to any extreme temperature
fluctuations, as this may result in moisture caused by
condensation and therefore a short circuit;
 the battery compartment should never be opened whilst taking
photos as saved image data could be corrupted as a result;
 the battery compartment should never be opened under water.
This could result in damage to the device as well as the saved
image data.
