Uploading items to a computer
There are two ways to upload items from the camera to a computer.
 By connecting the camera to a computer using a USB cable.
 By inserting the memory card into a memory card reader.
Using the USB cable
The operating systems Windows
®
7, Windows Vista
®
, and Windows
®
XP will recognise the camera as a mass storage device.
 Make sure that the camera is switched off.
 Open the battery compartment/memory card slot on the under
side of the camera.
 Insert the USB connector of the USB cable into the camera's
USB socket [12].
 Insert the USB plug into a free USB socket on your computer.
 Switch on the camera using the on/off button [2]. The camera
display [10] will briefly switch on and then off again. The
computer will recognise the camera as a "removable storage
device" and automatically create a new drive with the next
available drive letter.
 Open My Computer and double click on the new drive
"removable storage device".
