3) Select the appropriate temperature setting with the temperature control 8.

NOTE

► Always place the iron on the base 0 while it heats up. If you place the

iron on the sole of the iron q and do not move it, the automatic switch-oﬀ

will be activated after 30 seconds (see section Automatic switch-oﬀ)

and the appliance stops heating up.

■ The temperature control lamp 7 lights up. When the set temperature has been

reached, the temperature control lamp 7 goes out.

4) Wait until the temperature control lamp 7 goes out.

■ To moisten the laundry, press the spray button

■ This function is suitable for very dry and very crumpled garments.

Steam ironing

1) Set the steam control 3 to the desired steam setting.

2) The temperature control 8 must be set to at least the

setting.

Otherwise no steam will be produced.

Ironing with steam blast

■ The steam blast function is especially suitable for smoothing diﬃcult-to-reach

parts of a garment.

1) Raise the steam iron slightly.

2) For a steam blast, press the steam blast button

4. You can also use the

steam blast function to smooth hanging textiles.

Hold the iron vertically and press the steam blast button
