Cleaning
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use aggressive, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents. These could
damage the outer surfaces of the appliance.
Emptying the dirt container and cleaning the filter
NOTE
To achieve the best results, empty the dirt container % and clean the HEPA
filter 6 regularly.
1) If you have not already done so, disconnect the appliance from the mains
adapter or lift it off the wall bracket .
2) To open the dirt container %, press the release button ! and remove the
dirt container % from the appliance.
3) Remove the filter holder 1together with the HEPA filter 6from the dirt
container % by pulling both straight out of the dirt container %.
4) Empty the dirt container %.
5) Remove the HEPA filter 6from the filter holder 1 by turning it anticlockwise
towards the
symbol and pulling it out.
6) Tap out the HEPA filter 6 and the filter holder 1 over a rubbish bin. If nec-
essary, you can rinse out the filter holder1 and the HEPA filter 6 with fresh
water. Before replacing the parts ensure that they are completely dry. Do not
dry the HEPA filter 6 with hot air.
7) Reinsert the filter holder 1 into the dirt container %. Make sure that the filter
holder 1 is straight and that the rubber lip seals the dirt container %.
8) Insert the HEPA filter 6into the filter holder 1so that the catches on the
HEPA filter 6fit into the corresponding recesses on the filter holder 1.
The arrow on the HEPA filter 6must be aligned with the arrow on the filter
holder 1. Turn the HEPA filter 6 clockwise towards the
symbol.
9) Replace the dirt container % on the motor unit .:
First, place the contacts on the underside of the dirt container %onto the
contact pins on the underside of the motor unit .. This pushes the two
catches on the motor unit .into the recesses on the dirt container %.
Press the upper side of the dirt container %against the upper side of the
motor unit . so that the catch audibly engages. The dirt container% is
now firmly seated on the motor unit ..
