 This unit contains a laser system and is classified according to DIN EN
60825-1 as a “Class 1 Laser product” and indicated as such by a label on the
casing. Never open the unit and do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. There is
invisible laser radiation within the unit. Protect yourself against exposure to laser
radiation.
 The unit and the remote control are magnetic. To avoid data loss on
magnetic strip cards (EC cards, credit cards, telephone cards etc) or diskettes,
keep these items away from the unit and the remote control.
 Risk of explosion through improper replacement of the batteries. See also
Important information on battery use on page 11.
 Dispose of your batteries according to the regulations governing battery
disposal (see page 36).
 Dispose of your unit in accordance with 2002/96/EC Directive (see page
36). Most importantly you should not dispose of the unit in the household waste.
