Trouble shooting
Problem: Possible reason: Suggested solution:
There is no disk Insert a disk.
The disk is put in the wrong
way around.
Insert the disk with the label
facing upwards.
The disk is dirty or
scratched.
Clean the disk with a soft,
damp cloth moving from the
inside outwards. Never use a
cleaning spray, cleaning fluid,
thinner or similar solutions.
The DVD has an incorrect
Regional Code.
Use DVDs with Regional Code
2.
No playback.
Condensation has built up in
the unit.
Leave the unit switched on for
at least one hour and then
retry.
In future do not subject the unit
to any extremes in temperature.
Incorrect cabling.
Install your unit as per the
instructions on page 12 .
The volume is set to low or
mute.
Increase the volume (page 15).
Sound settings on the DVD
are incorrect.
Change to the sound menu on
the DVD and correct the
settings.
No sound
