Application Description
supportinfo Output collectively all the system status and configuration
information.
sync Flush filesystem buffers.
tail Output the last part of files.
tar Tar archiving utility.
tcpdump Utility for dumping traffic on a network. Available in a separate
software package.
telnet User interface to the TELNET protocol.
test Check file types and compare values.
time Run command and display its resource usage information when
finished.
top Provides a view to processor activity in real time.
touch Change file timestamps.
tr Translate or delete characters.
traceroute Trace the route that IP packets take on their way to the host.
true Do nothing, successfully.
tty Print the file name of the terminal connected to standard input.
