Print Using a LPR port of Windows NT 4.0

-In order to print using LPR, LPR port must be added. Go to

Start - Settings - ControlStart - Settings - Control

Start - Settings - Control

Panel - Network Panel - Network

Panel - Network and select

ServicesServices

Services. Click

Add, Add,

Add, select

Microsoft TCP/IP Printing,Microsoft TCP/IP Printing,

Microsoft TCP/IP Printing,

and click

OKOK

OK. Component is installed. Restart the computer.

Adding LPR port of Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and

Windows XP

1. Go to

Start-Settings-Printers Start-Settings-Printers

Start-Settings-Printers and

click

Add PrinterAdd Printer

Add Printer and start the

wizard. At

Add Printer WizardAdd Printer Wizard

Add Printer Wizard,

select

My Computer My Computer

My Computer and click

NextNext

Next.

2. Click

Add Port Add Port

Add Port and create a new port.

If you have already created a port

when you installed PRICOM, select

the port from the list and continue

with step 6.

-You need to have administrator rights to setup PRICOM in Windows NT 4.0, Windows

2000, Windows XP.

This section explains how to setup and print with PRICOM using LPR of Windows NT 4.0,

Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
