APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove all deteriorated concrete, dirt, oil, grease, and
all bond-inhibiting materials from surface. Preparation
work should be done by high pressure water blast,
scabbler, or other appropriate mechanical means to
obtain an aggregate-fractured surface with a minimum
CSP 3 surface profile or greater. Ensure there are no
curing compounds or other contaminants remaining on
the substrate before application. Substrate must be
damp (SSD) before application. No standing water.
MIXING
Have scissors or a knife next to the hole or spall and
ready to cut a corner of the bag after mixing is
completed. Roll the pouch, starting at the compartment
containing Component A, working towards the ‘burst
seal’ in the direction of the arrows shown on the label.
Apply pressure to the rolled section to rupture the seal
and allow Component A (Liquid) to flow into the
compartment containing Component B (Powder). Mix
thoroughly by then rolling out the pouch and rubbing the
bag along any 90 degree surface (no sharp edges). Mix
for 20 seconds by forcing the material to travel inside
the bag, from one end to the other (using a “shoe
shining” technique). Make sure there is no powder left
behind, the clear packaging allows the user to see when
the product isproperly mixed.
APPLICATION
After mixing, cut one of the bag’s corners and pour
mixed material in the hole/spall. The material will settle
into the hole/repair. Smooth it with a wide putty knife to
get a smooth/flat finish.
LIMITATIONS
Do not apply on frozen or frost covered substrates.▪
Low temperatures or high humidity will extend curing
time.
▪
Low temperatures will cause a thicker consistency.▪
Do not allow stored product to freeze.▪
Do not apply on vertical surfaces.▪
BASIS OF PRODUCT DATA
Results may differ based upon statistical variations
depending upon mixing methods and equipment,
temperature, application methods, test methods, actual
site conditions and curing conditions.
