To Verify Windows Installation

1. Check Device Manager to verify installation.

For Windows 8 / 7 / XP / Server 2003 & 2008 R2:

Right click Computer or My Computer, click

Manage, click Device Manager.

For Windows Vista: Right click Computer, click

Manage, click Continue, click Device Manager.

For Windows Server 2008: Right click Computer,

click Manage, double click Diagnostics, click

Device Manager.

2. Double-click Sound, video and game controllers,

then double click C-Media PCI Audio Device.

3. A message This device is working properly is

displayed, the driver has been correctly installed.

Uninstalling the Sound Card Driver

Windows 8 / 7 / Server 2008 R2

1. Click Start, Control Panel, then click Programs.

2. Double click Uninstall a Program under Programs.

3. Double click C-Media PCI Audio Device, select

Yes, I want to restart my computer now, then

follow on-screen instructions to uninstall the driver.

Windows Vista

1. Click Start, then Control Panel.

2. Double click Uninstall a Program under Programs.

3. Double click C-Media PCI Audio Device, click

Continue. Follow on-screen instructions to

uninstall the driver.
