Updating drivers for an installed device is
easily done using the same basic process as
adding a device driver.
Open the Manage devices window and
click on the device you want to update.
Click on the blue icon. Mousing over this
icon will launch a “Check for online up-
dates” prompt. Click the icon to launch
the Device Package Manager.
If there are no new drivers for the selected
device available online, a message will ap-
pear in the bottom of the Manage Devices
Window. You also have the option of
searching for “Local Updates”. This func-
tion allows you to search your PC or local
area network for an updated device driver
package. To use this function click on the
Search for Local updates icon, then browse
to the location where the updated driver
or device package is located.
