Using the
Tester
If the cable passes:

The green LED lights.

The screen displays PASSED ALL
TESTS.

If the User Preference Test Mode is
set to Continuous, the tester sounds
Tick Tick Tick ….
Each tick signifies a good
low voltage test of the cable.
If the cable fails:

The red LED lights.

The screen displays the type of error.

You can press View & Print Errors
to see the detailed error message.

The tester sounds an error tone
based on the type of error.
Single Beeps = open
Two Beeps = short
Three Beeps = miswire
For more information on error messages, see Cable Error Messages on page 43.
4. Remove the cable from the tester.

When you remove the cable, the
display tells you to attach the next
cable.
