10. Hold the handle latch bolt in, and insert the spindle through the door. Fit the outside door knob hardware into the
latch bolt assembly. Insert the inside door knob hardware, tting the inside knob over the spindle and aligning the
screws holes. Tighten the mounting screws to secure.
11. To install the strike plates (A,D), mark the ends of the latch bolts with lipstick or paint. Close the door, and turn the
deadbolt and handle several times to mark the door frame.
12. If necessary, mortise the areas around the holes so the strike plates are ush with the door frame.
13. Secure the strike plates to the door frame with the mounting hardware.
