DBI/SALA Salalift II Winch System
Two Way Tripod and Salalift
™
Winch System
For use in raising or supporting personnel or materials in a confined
space such as manholes, tanks, vaults, bins, etc.
System includes the following components:
Aluminum Tripod: Man-rated and UL Classified, tripod is available in
7 ft. and 9 ft. lengths. Lightweight aluminum is easily set-up and portable
yet meets strength requirements for anchorages (5,000 lbs. minimum).

II Winch with Carrying Bag:
The lightweight (35-37 lbs.) Salalift II Winch has an operator activated
free wheel mode which allows the drum to rotate and cable to pay out
freely as the attached worker descends or moves about.
Lifeline: 60 ft. of galvanized steel cable (1/4" diameter), 90 ft or 120 ft.
of galvanized steel cable (3/16" diameter). Also available with standards
steel cable.
Quick Mount Bracket: To easily attach winch to anchorage unit. If
the winch is used as a primary support system where there is no fixed
ladder or other support means, a backup or secondary, personal fall
arrest system should be used.

System provides rescue capabilities in confined space such as
manholes, tanks, vaults etc.
Components include:
Aluminum Tripod: Available in 7 ft. and 9 ft. lengths. Sealed Self
Retracting Lifeline with Emergency Retrieval Winch: the patented sealed
design of DBI/SALA’s self-retracting lifeline with a bi-directional
Lifeline: 50 ft. of galvanized steel cable (3/16" diameter) with swiveling
self-locking snap hook incorporating an impact indicator. Also available in
85 ft. and 130 ft. lengths. Stainless Steel cable also available:
Quick Mount Bracket: To easily attach self-retracting lifeline to
anchorage unit. System exceeds ANSI/OSHA standards. Made in USA.
