Signamax Connectivity Systems’ model 065-7640AFSC and 065-7640AFSM Fast Ethernet Fibre
Switches connect workstations and servers using fibre optic cable where Gigabit Ethernet
connections are not desired. These non-blocking 24-port 100BaseFX Fast Ethernet switches
have SNMP, Web-browser, local terminal connection and Telnet remote terminal management
capabilities included, to build a fibre-based enterprise-level network at Fast Ethernet speeds.
Model 065-7640AFSC provides 24 100BaseFX multimode fibre optic ports, typically used in Local
Are Network (LAN) applications. Model 065-7640AFSM provides 24 100BaseFX singlemode fibre
ports, for use in carrier network applications or in LANs where longer distances need to be reached.
