Description:
Initiates an Internal/External Loopback Test.
Argument:
None.
Possible value:
None.
Example:

ping
Syntax:
ping <ip>
Description:
Confirms that the remote end-station or the switch itself is alive or not.
Argument:
[ip] : ip address or domain name
Possible value:
IP address, e.g. 192.168.2.65 or domain name, e.g. tw.yahoo.com
Example:
065-7840(diag)# ping 192.168.1.115
Gateway : 192.168.1.253
192.168.1.115 is alive.
