2.4.3 MAC Address Binding
This function is based upon for the switch security. When you add one MAC Address
is bind with one port. it remains in the switch's address table, regardless of whether
the device is physically connected to the switch. This saves the switch from having to
re-learn a device's MAC address after it has been disconnected or powered-off from
the network, and then reconnected at some time later. If the Network station
connected with one port want to control the switch, The station’s MAC Address must
be the same as one MAC Address
In the MAC Address box, enter the MAC address that you want to bind and in the port
box enter the corresponding port number.
Click ”Add”.
To Delete a MAC address Bind from the table, simply select it and click Delete.
