Set the functions that can be allocated to the button while the switch is at
the [AEL] position from [ Capture Settings] ( P. 30) → [AEL Button
Settings].

LV Magnification
AEL
It is the normal operation of AE Lock. Refer to the
table on the previous page.
AEL (Pressed)
The exposure is fixed only while the
button
is being pressed.
AFL
It is the normal operation of AF Lock.
Refer to the table on the previous page.
AFL (Pressed)
The focus is locked only while the button is
being pressed.
AEL+AFL
Press the button to lock both AE and Focus
simultaneously.
Until pressing the button again, ima
ges are
taken with the same exposure and focusing point.
AEL+AFL
(Pressed)
Both AE and Focus are locked simultaneously only
while the button is being pressed.
AF-ON
The Autofocus activates when the button is
being pressed.
The exposure is not fixed.
LV
Magnification
The zoomed-in view is displayed when the
button is pressed. The operation becomes
the same as when the
button is pressed during
shooting. For details, please refer to [FOCUSING
WITH MAGNIFICATION DISPLAY] (P. 63).
